Amidst the impressive Tyrolean mountain world the broadest south side valley of the valley Inntal reaches from Strass to Maryhofen. Altogether the valley Zillertal consists of 25 towns and extends over approx. 1100 m2. It was named after the river Ziller, which runs through the Zillertal from South to North and flows into the river Inn.
In Mayrhofen the Zillertal divides itself into the following 4 side valleys:
Surrounded by numerous mountains that are at least 3 000 m high and by the unique Tyrolean mountain world the Zillertal offers breathtaking views and is starting point for numerous leisure time activities.
